I like the landing page. This should assist in our database growth. Thanks.
It was by far the best video tutorials how to create a landing page in WordPress I’ve ever seen and I’ve been looking for months.
Many thanks!
John F.
I would like to see how you add a download page and a thank you page. Simple templates for these would make the world of difference. What do you recommend calling the download page – couldn’t someone simply type in /download to access the info? Is there a preferred way of doing this?
I really enjoyed your presentation style for these videos – very simple and easy to listen to and easy to follow along with.
Great job..
Thanks,
Lauren
Hi Lauren
What pages you have to design for lead generation depends on the autoresponder/list building software you use. If you use something like AWeber.com you will create 4 pages.
1 – The Primary Landing Page which has your opt in box
2 – The delivery page which has the link to your free gift. This could be a free report.
3 – An “Almost Done.. Go to your email to confirm” page
4 – An “Already Subscribed” Page
If you want to secure your delivery page you can do so with WordPress by using the password function. You will need to send them the password details in the first email from your autoresponder sequence.
Try it out and let me know!!
Andy
Andy – some realy great content here as always and you have such an easy to listen to voice (ever concidered voice-overs, you’d be a smash).
Cant find this which you refer to above – can you point a complete dufus in the right direction please?
“I have a video on a sales page of mine which is 8 minutes long but has an explanation of this procedure http://www.leadgeneration-success.com (the bit you want is about 2 min 15 sec in) However watch it all as it may explain a lot for you.”
Cheers my old fruit
Hi James
I had to take the video off the Landing Page because it was promoting an date at the end of January, however it is on my YouTube Channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJkvwkorh6M
Enjoy
Andy
Andy – your a star old bean!
Thank you so much.
This is an amazing set of videos. Each one a good length to absorb and find a particular bit. I assume I have to get the innards for the paypal button and add it to the html?
How do I then add this page to my existing site? You are a gem at explaining in simple but ‘grown up’ terms. Many thanks Liz
Hi Liz
The theme is simply a WordPress Theme which means that you can add WordPres to your existing website within another directory. For instance when you use cPanel in Hostgator and the Fantastico function, you can dictate which directory you want to install WordPress to. This means you can have a html website with a WordPress Blog attached. You can then just install this theme and have it as a page on your site.
The better way to use this is to come from a position of abundance and purchase a new (keyword focused) url, install WordPress to that new URL and then use this theme to create a Squeeze Page with an opt-in box at the bottom. Use the Platinum SEO plugin and comment on lots of other peoples blogs to create backlinks.
In other words build yourself a lead generation system using this theme. If you use AWeber on the back of the site to create the opt-in box you can set up a whole autoresponder sequence at the back to stay in contact with your leads.
This theme is really best as a stand alone site.
Hope that helps
Andy
Oh, and BTW.. Keep an eye out for a new training program I am releasing which will be an 8 Week Online Webinar Course all about the Lead Generation Process, which covers all of this. I will let everyone know as soon as it’s launched.
Hi Andy,
I can’t thank you enough for making all this available for free. The landing page is awesome and all the instructional videos are REALLY appreciated!
Just wondering – and sorry if this is explained elsewhere – but how could I put my own header into the theme?
Thanks muchly!
Hi Lois
Firstly, thanks for the very kind words. This theme is not designed to have a header. The theme has been designed as a squeeze page which has a “Killer Headline” as the very first thing someone sees as soon as the page is opened. This “Killer Headline” should be a statement which the viewer can only say yes to.
We find this really works well, whether the traffic has come from organic search (Free Traffic) or PPC (pay Per Click) traffic.
Having said that. if you look at the page that I list all the videos on http://www.wordpress-landingpage.com/free-wordpress-landing-page-video-tutorial you’ll notice a graphical header at the top. All I did for this was design a graphic which faded out at the sides and it was the first thing I put on the page before the text.
So although the theme is not designed for a graphic header, it can be done if you place a graphic in first. I would say it would be best if it faded at the sides like the one I produced on the video page, or it was just pictures and text on a white background so it has no borders.
Either way would work
Hope that helps
Andy
This is awesome training video, you help me to much.

Thank you so much for these clear and concise videos. You are excellent in knowledge and presentation. Your voice is relaxing and very easy to listen to. I now, very clearly, know how to create a WordPress site. I will view your videos over and over til they become second nature.
As with everyone else that left comments on this page, again THANK YOU!

Hi Paul, Thanks for your kind words. Getting feedback like that makes it all worthwhile
Andy
I appreciated the comment above by Lauren and the reply by Andy (below) regarding the 4 step procedure to attach Aweber to WordPress Landing page. However, the training video appears to be gone.
Can you repost? Also, do you have additional WP training videos?
Thank you.
Original post…
1 – The Primary Landing Page which has your opt in box
2 – The delivery page which has the link to your free gift. This could be a free report.
3 – An “Almost Done.. Go to your email to confirm” page
4 – An “Already Subscribed” Page
I have a video on a sales page of mine which is 8 minutes long but has an explanation of this procedure http://www.leadgeneration-success.com
Hi Van
Yeah the sales video got pulled off this page because the Lead Generation Success Program has now gone online but the video is still on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJkvwkorh6M&
It’s not a training video but it does show how you use 4 pages to create a simple AWeber opt in sequence.
Andy
Great video tutorials – some of the most detailed and helpful I have come across.
Looking forward to launching my site with this soon.
Thanks the template.
When I create a page, I can not disable the “Leave a Reply”.
Under the WYSWYG window are nothing.
How can I create a clear page without “Leave a Reply”?
Thanks
Hi Zsolt
Firstly thanks for downloading the template, hope you like it..
as for the “leave a reply” just go back to the very first video on http://www.wordpress-landingpage.com/free-wordpress-landing-page-tutorial-part1 and watch the second video on the page. I show you how to get rid of this.
Thanks
Just completed watching the vidoes and really like them, now going back and watch them again and take notes. There is a lot of quality information in this WordPress Landing Page course and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to set up a squeeze pages in WordPress and a lot more.
Kenneth
Hi Kenneth
Thanks for the kind words I’m glad you liked the videos.. let me know how you get on with the the squeeze page!
Andy
Andy would you be so kind when you get a chance to check my website and inform me as per setting up my NS eStore so that I can put the companies Amazon,Clickbank and amazon directly under NS eStore which is the parent page and those three companies would be under categories. As the way it is not to me is just not appealing to look at.
I am able to accomplish this if I set NS eStore up in the post section of reading.
Thanks in advance,
Kenneth C Young

Very nice, all the way through. You’ve created a friend and a future client!!
Hi Andy, I want to make a landing page that sales nothing on it but is the home page for a site that sales many products. Is There A Sample of one such as that. Buy the way, Paid for programs but your simple way of doing it makes it look so easy. Do You Have A Page Like I Dis scribed. Thank You Will
Hi Will
The theme is not designed to become a front for another site. There are always technical ways to enable this to happen like multiple WordPress sites on a single domain but I think that would be over complicating the issue.
If you want to sell product on-line then there are a load of WordPress Plugins that do eCommerce or use an eCommerce website product and use their front end.
You can always use this theme to showcase products to drive people to your primary site.
